Telecommunications is a field of technology that has evolved from
the simple telegraph to the sophistication of the Internet almost overnight.
This field of electronics includes Installers, Cell Phone Technicians, Central Station
Technicians, Wireless Technicians and Broadcast Technicians. The one common
element that all require is a fundamental knowledge of basic electronics.
The Nida Telecommunication Program is a combination of several
smaller courses. As each course is completed, the technician's level of competence
increases permitting a student to exit the program when their job skill requirements
have been acquired. Acquiring skills and knowledge in this manner will insure
a smooth transition from apprentice to journeyman and allow the student to utilize
new skills while still in training.
